Sambangra rehearsals are open to everyone. Times and venues may
vary (email rehearsals@sambangra.com to find out when & where)
These sessions are suitable for a wide range of abilities - from beginners
to advanced musicians. Most of Sambangra's music is original, so although
some experience of Brazilian or South Asian music might well be useful,
everyone will encounter stuff they've never played before. The emphasis is
on an easy, relaxed atmosphere.

 

Cost: £4 or £2 concession.

 

Bring a drum if you have one. If you decide it's not for you, we won't
charge for the first session.

 

Most sessions in Manchester will be led by Leon Patel. Leon has been a key member of Sambangra since its foundation and was its first deputy MD.

Ian Holmes-Lewis will be leading Sambangra – Scotland rehearsals in and around Dunfermline.
